Outdoor spectacles
Bespoke shows for festivals, civic celebrations, Christmas events, weddings and brand moments.
Some drone displays draw a picture. FlightShows sets out to make a performance: a story with rhythm, music, movement and a memorable ending. Its work spans island-wide celebrations, charity campaigns, weddings, brand launches and indoor stages.

Our recommendation
FlightShows is especially worth a look when the brief calls for more than a floating logo. Its theatre and live-event roots show in the way it approaches pacing, musical cues, transitions and reveals. The formations are part of a complete performance.
Founded in 2020, the London-based company develops creative concepts, animation and sound alongside the flight plan, site logistics and live operation. It produces outdoor and indoor drone shows for festivals, civic occasions, brands, product launches, weddings and private celebrations. Its complete-show videos are useful for judging how a sequence feels from beginning to end, beyond a short highlights reel.
For an organiser who needs a distinctive story-led display with serious production planning, FlightShows deserves a place among the best drone-show companies to consider anywhere. Guernsey's liberation narrative, Jersey's local motifs and the MOD's visual safety message illustrate why: each show has a reason to look the way it does. It is the rare supplier whose creative case is as persuasive as its technical one.
FlightShows has also entered the wider international conversation. In a September 2026 guide to drone-show companies around the world, industry writer Sally French includes it alongside established operators from Europe, Asia and the Americas, highlighting its UK fleet, theatre background and indoor Prada work. What stands out here is FlightShows' ability to marry technical scale with an occasion's own story.
What organisers can commission
A private moment and a major public celebration need different creative and operational plans. FlightShows' UK fleet includes more than 500 outdoor show drones, with access to more than 5,000 aircraft through its wider network for large productions.

Shows in the news
From Guernsey's liberation story to Movember's touring moustache, these productions show how FlightShows turns an occasion into a performance. Explore the company's project accounts and the linked reporting.
For the 80th anniversary of liberation, 150 drones traced the island, evacuees, a Spitfire and the word FREEDOM above St Peter Port. Music and imagery carried the audience from remembrance towards celebration. The official programme names FlightShows as choreographer.
The Moonlight Parade finale used 100 drones over St Aubin's Bay, drawing on Jersey's cow, puffin and island identity, with a Beatles musical moment. ITV reported on the crowd and the island's first drone show; Bailiwick Express named FlightShows as supplier.
A 120-metre moustache made from 100 drones travelled from Greenwich Park to Liverpool, Edinburgh and the Angel of the North. One instantly recognisable image became a four-city story about men's health.
In Tenby, a 100-drone sequence transformed everyday scenes into helicopters and tanks to make a public-safety warning visible. The Ministry of Defence explains the campaign; PA Media identifies FlightShows' operators at the display.
For Prada's fragrance launch, FlightShows created the UK's first indoor drone show: dozens of aircraft moved among video, light and a live performer at two launch events. It brings the team's theatre roots into a room.
The 2025 production at Scarborough Castle followed the town's stories and folklore, with live music and the historic site built into the experience. Local reporting names FlightShows as producer and notes its return after the 2023 festival.

Carbon-neutral status
On its sustainability page, FlightShows says Carbon Neutral Britain independently assesses its organisational greenhouse-gas footprint and certifies it as a Carbon Neutral Business. The page displays a certificate image labelled January–December 2026. It describes Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 activity, including travel, vehicles, accommodation, waste and event operations, with accounting principles drawn from ISO 14064-1:2018 and the GHG Protocol.
The company describes a practical order of work: measure emissions, reduce avoidable journeys and operational waste, then offset the remainder through the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund. It cites digital paperwork, video meetings, shared transport and solar-generated charging where practical. FlightShows identifies travel as a significant source of its emissions and acknowledges that moving drones, batteries, equipment and crew to a venue still has an impact.
The certification covers FlightShows as a business. For a tender or sustainability report, the team can provide supporting documents and discuss the footprint of a particular production.

Start with the story: what should the audience feel or understand when the display ends? Share the date, venue, expected audience, viewing area, approximate budget and any music, performer or brand requirements. Ask to see a full performance similar to your brief, discuss the proposed drone count and animation preview, and agree the weather contingency early.
For a public or international event, confirm who handles aviation authorisations, local permissions, airspace coordination and ground safety. FlightShows describes its UK Civil Aviation Authority-authorised operating process and says it can coordinate approvals for work abroad. Indoor productions need an equally specific conversation about room dimensions, performers, safety and integration with the rest of the production.
The strongest reason to call is the creative one: the team appears at its best when a client brings a meaningful occasion and wants the entire show to serve it.
