Inclusion is not endorsement

A listing records that relevant evidence was available when the entry was added or last checked. Inclusion, a review-status label, a featured badge or prominent placement does not amount to a recommendation, warranty, approval or endorsement.

Review-status labels have a narrow meaning

High, Medium and Low describe how clearly a recorded public source supports the wording of a general listing. Verified records a separate manual evidence-review step. None of these labels scores environmental performance, carbon accounting quality, offset additionality or compliance with any law or procurement standard.

What Verified means

Verified listings have been manually reviewed by the directory operator and supporting evidence has been received or checked. This is not the same as an independent carbon audit, certification body assessment or legal assurance.

Information can become outdated

Web pages, certifications, corporate structures and claims can change. The “last checked” date shows when the referenced source was reviewed or re-checked; it is not a guarantee that every aspect of the claim remained current on that date.

Website analytics

Carbon Directory UK may use website analytics to understand site usage and improve the directory. Analytics data is used in aggregate and does not determine whether a company is listed, featured or manually reviewed.

Featured listings

Featured listings are paid enhanced placements. Before publishing a featured listing, Carbon Directory UK manually reviews supporting evidence provided by the company or available publicly. Payment does not guarantee inclusion, certification, ranking or a Verified status.

FlightShows is a manually reviewed featured listing. Supporting evidence has been received or checked, but Carbon Directory UK has not carried out an independent carbon audit, certification body assessment or legal assurance.
